Michigan Democrats refuse to learn lessons from 2024
Lansing, MI – The Democrat primary for Michigan’s 13th Congressional District has become a mad dash to the left, reaffirming the Michigan Democrats aren’t listening to Michigan voters.
This morning State Representative Donavan McKinney’s congressional bid received an endorsement from self-described socialist Bernie Sanders, joining squad member Rashida Tlaib and left-wing group Justice Democrats in the quest to oust Congressman Shri Thanedar.
Thanedar is feeling the pressure from the political left, changing his tactics to appease the most radical voices in his party. He’s filed articles of impeachment against President Trump, and he’s even started calling the president a dictator and a fascist.
“This election, Detroit Democrats get to choose between a wannabe squad member and an alleged puppy murderer. Michigan Democrats are refusing to listen to voters who demanded a return to common sense in 2024, choosing instead to embrace an out-of-touch progressive agenda that was resoundingly rejected by voters across the country,” said Zach Rudat, Advocacy Director for Michigan Freedom Fund.
