Lansing, MI – The Michigan Freedom Fund released the following statement in response to Governor Whitmer’s latest scheme to rob Michiganders of a tax cut:
“The Democrats proposal is a head fake intended to hide their attempt to rob Michigan taxpayers of an income tax cut in favor of funding a corporate welfare slush fund – prioritizing big corporations over Michigan families,” said Michigan Freedom Fund Executive Director, Sarah Anderson. Anderson continued, “Hardworking Michigan taxpayers are feeling the economic pain and deserve permanent and lasting relief, not this band aid scheme.”
