New Auditor General Report: Whitmer Admin Left Seniors Without Oversight, Failed To Visit Nursing Homes
“Most states fought to keep the virus out of nursing homes, but Governor Whitmer deliberately ordered COVID patients into homes full of seniors, failed to provide legally required oversight, refused to accurately track how many seniors died from her policy, and even bought the silence of the Health Department director responsible for implementing her orders,” said Michigan Freedom Fund executive director Tori Sachs. “Whitmer banned family members – the most vocal patient advocates – from these facilities, and her ombudsman, the last line of defense for patients, decided to not do their legally required job. The families who lost loved ones to this deadly, unscientific policy deserve answers, and the Whitmer administration must be held accountable for this brazen act of negligence.”

Governor Whitmer promises to “fight like hell” to talk about anything other than her failed policies. That phrase was obviously poll tested by the Democrats because radical leftists around the country are saying the same exact thing in the hopes that voters will focus on anything other than the devastation of rising prices and the southern border crisis.
Whitmer Vetoed Bipartisan Election Integrity Bill, Then Issued Directive To State Agencies To Increase Vote-By-Mail Applications
“It’s disgraceful that months before voters will decide if Whitmer gets to keep her job she is directing state agencies to use taxpayer-funded resources to register voters by distributing vote by mail applications,” said Tori Sachs, executive director of The Michigan Freedom Fund. “Just days ago, Whitmer vetoed a bipartisan bill that would have added a statement to voter registration applications stating it’s a felony to vote more than once. Instead of using government resources to aide her re-election campaign, Governor Whitmer should be making it easier to vote and harder to cheat.”
