Governor Whitmer’s Democratic Party just told every Michigan parent what they really think of them.

They think they know better than you. They don’t think you should have a say in your students’ education. And they think your kids belong to them.

Michigan Freedom Fund executive director Tori Sachs reacted this morning on Fox & Friends:
“The Michigan Democratic Party, teachers unions, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer think they own our kids. I think that’s especially disturbing considering they’ve been the people advocating for closed schools.”

WATCH: Fox & Friends: Parents Fight for a Say in their Kids’ Education

The Whitmer Democrats said it in their words, but Governor Whitmer has said it through her actions, again and again:

  • Whitmer vetoed reading scholarships;
  • Whitmer vetoed opportunity accounts that would have provided parents with the money for tutoring, transportation, or even the ability to find an open school;
  • Whitmer has steadfastly refused to fight for open schools.

We’re fighting for you because we believe parents should have a say in their kids’ education. Just as government must be accountable to the people, public schools must answer to parents.

We need your help. Chip in $20 today to help us hold the line against the radical Left and their teachers union allies.

It’s time to put education funding in the hands of families, so they can make the best choices for their kids.

Thank you for standing with us,
