They’re laughing at you.

In Washington, D.C., they think rising gas prices are funny.

Back here at home they’re getting wasted in public and making jokes about it.

They’re burning public documents so you’ll never be able to see why they leveled huge fines on businesses and local officials during the pandemic. They think it’s funny. Because they think you’re a joke.

Michigan families aren’t a joke. Crippling inflation and skyrocketing fuel prices aren’t funny. Statewide elected officials making disgusting jokes about a vomit fetish in the bedroom is hardly a laughing matter.

Here’s the news you need to know this week:

BIDEN ENERGY SECRETARY, FORMER GOVERNOR GRANHOLM LAUGHS IN MOTORISTS FACES

Gas prices in October rose to the highest level of the year and are more than $1.20 per gallon higher than last fall. In some places, they’ve skyrocketed to over $4.00 per gallon, and there’s no relief in sight.

Former Michigan Governor Granholm took the fuel crisis as her cue to go on national TV and to literally guffaw at questions about how the administration might be able to help local families who are struggling to make ends meet.

Watch Now: High Gas Prices Are Not Funny

Local residents are choosing between heating and eating. We’re not sure what Granholm found so funny.

Inflation in the Biden-Granholm-Whitmer economy is not a laughing matter. Michiganders are suffering, and Governor Whitmer’s policies are making things worse!

ATTORNEY GENERAL GOT WASTED & WHEELED OUT OF FOOTBALL GAME, “APOLOGIZES” WITH DISGUSTING JOKE

Attorney General Dana Nessel likes to joke about vomiting on people for sexual gratification. Har har. Hilarious.

Nessel bizarrely admitted on Facebook to getting hammered on what she says were only two Bloody Mary drinks at the Michigan v. Michigan State football game. Nessel was so inebriated that she required a wheelchair to exit the stadium.

The Detroit News revealed that Nessel attempted to “come clean” on her erratic behavior only after documents were requested of local law enforcement on drunken incidents involving Nessel at the rivalry game.

Nessel’s outlandish Facebook post on the incident was loaded with tasteless jokes and a line about “Roman showers.”

There’s probably a scary corner of the Internet where that kind of thing is funny. Most voters? They’re not laughing.

WHERE THERE’S SMOKE…

Officials in Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s administration admitted to deleting emails and burning government records related to citations issued to the city of Port Huron for violating Whitmer’s unconstitutional COVID edicts.

She’s taken some real heat over the move, so this week Whitmer trotted out bureaucrats from her administration to claim they did the right thing by setting public records on fire.

Totally standard procedure.

Which begs the obvious question… what other documents has Whitmer’s team set on fire?
