A new poll shows a majority of Michiganders believe our state is on the wrong track. With the Whitmer admin’s mismanagement of everything from roads to nursing homes to unemployment, we can’t say we’re surprised.

Republicans in the legislature are making another attempt to provide Michigan families with urgently needed tax relief.

And on Monday, we observe Memorial Day. It’s among the most solemn days on the calendar, and a yearly reminder that the freedom we enjoy comes at a cost.

Here are the latest updates from the Frontlines of Freedom.

BAD MANAGEMENT HAS CONSEQUENCES

The latest poll numbers are out, and less than a third of those surveyed think Michigan is heading in the right direction. A majority say that under Governor Whitmer the state has “pretty seriously gotten off on the wrong track.”

We’re not surprised. As I shared on Fox 2 Detroit’s “Let it Rip,” the Whitmer administration has mismanaged crisis after crisis, handing out billions of dollars in fraudulent unemployment claims.

Under Whitmer, the agency has been defined by “persistent dysfunction.” Michigan families are struggling, and Whitmer’s failures continue to make things worse.

WHITMER OPPOSES TAX RELIEF – AGAIN

Gas prices are higher than ever and inflation is through the roof, yet the state’s budget is bursting at the seams with billions in extra cash. The state House and Senate continue to pass and advance meaningful tax reform that would provide urgently needed relief to Michigan families and workers.

Whitmer would rather give you a check with her name on it.

It’s the latest election year stunt from a governor who has already vetoed billions in tax cuts. Whitmer’s proposal would make inflation worse.

It’s time to let Michigan families keep more of their own hard-earned money!

IN MEMORIAM

Here at the Michigan Freedom Fund we’re incredibly grateful for the men and women who’ve given their lives to defend every American family and the rights and liberties we too often take for granted.

This Memorial Day, as you spend time this weekend with family and friends, we encourage you to join us in remembering the sacrifices that make this weekend possible.
