“Parents have every right to be upset after Democrats said they shouldn’t have a say in their children’s education, Governor Whitmer locked their kids out of the classroom, and then vetoed scholarships to help students recover from her disastrous policies,” said executive director Tori Sachs. “It’s clear that Governor Whitmer hasn’t listened to parents and it’s laughable to think that Michiganders will fall for this politically poll tested stunt.”

“Record inflation in the Whitmer-Biden economy is costing families more money every time they buy groceries, fill up their gas tank, and pay their bills. The people of Michigan deserve relief but Governor Whitmer did the opposite when she vetoed three bills that would have let people keep more of their money,” said Michigan Freedom Fund executive director Tori Sachs. “Inflation is Whitmer’s biggest tax hike, hitting families where it hurts, and her partisan vetoes increased the pain each Michigander is feeling.”
